This is Joint Academy
Joint Academy is a healthcare provider, based on science and technology, which delivers a digital first-line treatment for osteoarthritis. Joint Academy combines contact with a physiotherapist, personalised activities, and education about the disease. The fact that the treatment is digital, contributes to making healthcare more scalable and efficient.
We stand behind the company
Joint Academy AB was founded by father and son, Leif and Jakob Dahlberg, in 2014. At the time, Jakob studied Computer Science while Leif continued his leading research on osteoarthritis. Jakob saw an opportunity to scale up his father’s research to a global level with the help of software. He then started putting the puzzle, that was to become Joint Academy, together.
Today, the team at Joint Academy consists of more than 40 people with various backgrounds that all work to make the world’s first successful digital osteoarthritis treatment available for millions of people and, with that, improve lives all over the world.
