Genom att \u00e4ta vegetariskt, en kosth\u00e5llning&nbsp;som huvudsakligen baseras p\u00e5 mat fr\u00e5n v\u00e4xtriket,&nbsp;kan man f\u00f6rb\u00e4ttra s\u00e5v\u00e4l h\u00e4lsan som milj\u00f6n.<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">&nbsp;<\/span>Vegetarianer l\u00f6per till exempel mindre risk att drabbas av en rad olika sjukdomar, som h\u00f6gt blodtryck, hj\u00e4rt- och k\u00e4rlsjukdom och vissa cancerformer.&nbsp;Vad man menar exakt n\u00e4r man pratar om vegetarisk mat kan dock diskuteras. Det finns flera olika begrepp som betyder en sak i folkmun och en annan p\u00e5 pappret.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artros.org\/livsstil\/medelhavskost\/\">L\u00e4s ocks\u00e5 om medelhavskost<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vad menas med ordet &#8221;vegetariskt&#8221;?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Det finns flera&nbsp;definitioner av&nbsp;vegetarianism. Det flesta som s\u00e4ger att de \u00e4ter vegetariskt menar att de inte \u00e4ter k\u00f6tt men d\u00e4remot andra animaliska produkter, s\u00e5som mj\u00f6lk, \u00e4gg och ost. Ordet &#8221;vegeterianism&#8221; syftar dock egentligen p\u00e5 en kosth\u00e5llning helt fri fr\u00e5n alla animaliska produkter &#8211; det som m\u00e5nga kallar f\u00f6r veganskt. Det korrekta begreppet f\u00f6r n\u00e5gon som inte \u00e4ter k\u00f6tt, men d\u00e4remot \u00e4gg och mj\u00f6lkprodukter, \u00e4r lakto-ovo-vegetarian. &#8221;Lakto&#8221; syftar h\u00e4r p\u00e5 mj\u00f6lk, medan &#8221;ovo&#8221; syftar p\u00e5 \u00e4gg. Det g\u00e5r d\u00e4rmed ocks\u00e5 att vara ovo-vegetarian&nbsp;(man \u00e4ter \u00e4gg men inte mj\u00f6lkprodukter) eller&nbsp;lakto-vegetarian&nbsp;(man \u00e4ter mj\u00f6lkprodukter men inte \u00e4gg). Det som alla dessa har gemensamnt \u00e4r att de utesluter alla former av k\u00f6tt. Hit r\u00e4knas bland annat&nbsp;n\u00f6t, gris, f\u00e5gel, fisk och skaldjur.&nbsp;Vegatarianer som ibland \u00e4ter en begr\u00e4nsad m\u00e4ngd k\u00f6tt brukar kallas f\u00f6r flexitarianer.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Veganism<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>S\u00e5 om en vegeterian varken \u00e4ter k\u00f6tt eller andra animaliska produkter, vad \u00e4r d\u00e5 skillnaden p\u00e5 vegetarian och vegan? Den som \u00e4r vegan ska enligt definitionen inte bara se&nbsp;till kosth\u00e5llningen. Denne h\u00e5ller sig d\u00e4rmed borta fr\u00e5n animaliska produkter \u00e4ven i andra sammanhang. En vegan anv\u00e4nder inte produkter som l\u00e4derskor eller dunt\u00e4cken. M\u00e5nga vegeterianer beskriver sig dock som veganer f\u00f6r att undvika missf\u00f6rst\u00e5nd i sin omgivning.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Proteinrik vegetarisk mat<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En av de initiala orosmomenten f\u00f6r den som b\u00f6rjar med vegetarisk mat \u00e4r att man inte kommer f\u00e5 i sig tillr\u00e4ckligt med protein. Grundtanken h\u00e4r utg\u00e5r fr\u00e5n tallriksmodellen, d\u00e4r proteinet generellt utg\u00f6rs av k\u00f6tt eller fisk. Den h\u00e4r oron \u00e4r dock i de allra flesta fall helt obefogad. Dels f\u00f6r att vi m\u00e4nniskor inte beh\u00f6ver stora m\u00e4ngder protein f\u00f6r att fungera, och dels f\u00f6r att det finns gott om protein \u00e4ven i gr\u00f6nsaker och rotfrukter, fullkorn och framf\u00f6rallt&nbsp;baljv\u00e4xter som b\u00f6nor, \u00e4rtor, linser och soja.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>H\u00f6ga m\u00e4ngder av vegetariskt protein finns i r\u00e5varor som b\u00f6nor, linser och n\u00f6tter men ocks\u00e5 i gr\u00f6nsaker s\u00e5som broccoli. Pumpak\u00e4rnor \u00e4r ocks\u00e5 en bra k\u00e4lla d\u00e5 de \u00e4r bland de mest proteinrika livsmedel som finns. Det kan dock ocks\u00e5 vara bra att k\u00e4nna till att man \u00e4ven beh\u00f6ver ta h\u00e4nsyn till aminosyror. De proteink\u00e4llor som inneh\u00e5ller alla n\u00f6dv\u00e4ndiga aminosyror kallas f\u00f6r fullv\u00e4rdiga. Dessa beh\u00f6ver d\u00e4rmed inte kompletteras med n\u00e5got annat f\u00f6r att vi ska f\u00e5 i oss alla n\u00e4rings\u00e4mnen vi beh\u00f6ver. N\u00e5gra exempel p\u00e5 fullv\u00e4rdiga proteink\u00e4llor som \u00e4r helt vegetariska \u00e4r:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>* Quinoa<br>* Sojab\u00f6nor<br>* Bovete<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Den som \u00e4ter mj\u00f6lk och \u00e4gg kan givetvis f\u00e5 i sig fullv\u00e4rdigt protein \u00e4ven h\u00e4r.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Idag finns ocks\u00e5 flera k\u00f6ttsubstitut som ofta inneh\u00e5ller&nbsp;flera<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">&nbsp;<\/span>viktiga n\u00e4rings\u00e4mnen som k\u00f6tt annars inneh\u00e5ller. Dessa \u00e4r ofta lika k\u00f6tt i b\u00e5de konsistens, utseende och smak och kommer i exempelvis bitar, strimlor, f\u00e4rs, bullar och fil\u00e9er. Den h\u00e4r typen av produkter \u00e4r ett bra alternativ f\u00f6r den som vill ha kvar upplevelsen av k\u00f6tt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.livsmedelsverket.se\/matvanor-halsa--miljo\/kostrad-och-matvanor\/vegetarisk-mat-for-vuxna\">L\u00e4s mer om vegetarisk kost p\u00e5 Livsmedelsverkets hemsida<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tillskott f\u00f6r vegetarianer och veganer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>De som \u00e4ter en bra sammansatt vegetarisk mat kommer att f\u00e5 i sig allt de beh\u00f6ver. \u00c4r man d\u00e4remot lite petig med maten och kanske f\u00f6redrar en ensidig kost kan det vara bra att investera i speciella tillskott som bland annat g\u00e5r att hitta p\u00e5 apoteket. Dessa \u00e4r framtagna speciellt f\u00f6r vegetarianer.
